"Family Pictures"

We don't do family pictures....EVER. The idea of it is just so daunting to me. Getting outfits for everyone, a location, a photographer, the money involved, actually having children that look at the camera. Ideally I would LOVE to get professional outdoor pictures done with some great candid natural shots, but it just hasn't happened yet. I will try to at least take more now that I have a better camera.

Headshots. I love these awesome kids. They all have their very own unique look.

Justin wasn't taking this "session" seriously so we never did get a good clear picture with each other

First Day of School Pictures!

I had waited so long for this day when Dale would start school, but I also wasn't ready for it at all. I worry about him so much. He is so sweet and naive, nobody is a stranger to him and it's hard for him to recognize when he is being appropriate. He just has no filter, which is both good and bad. He loves freely and is a friend to anyone.

Daisy was totally getting in on these pictures, she wasn't about to be left out.

Dale did great, though he did pretend to have a limp when we got out of the car that morning. Coping mechanism I guess. He sat down in his class and put on such a brave face. I had to gulp down a few sobs as I left his classroom. I love and worry for this darling boy.

And then it was just me and this girl...

She is now my little side kick and I love it.
