 Dale's latest escapades.... A tube of toothpaste along the bed frame? Check.  Doesn't matter if you are on the fence or not, when you gotta go, you gotta go... Watching stuff disappear down the drain in the bathroom is so exciting! After a week or so the water quits draining, so Mom and Dad get to dismantle the trap and find all sorts of treasures! (two toothbrushes, small lip-gloss applicator, and 13 acorns I stole from Brighton's stash!) I like to brake things... I broke the bottom sliding drawer on this spice rack a while back (after mom had to remove all the spices because I kept getting into them). Finally I just ripped off the door completely.  Some great artwork, after I scribbled all over Brighton's desk, I moved on to the wall and then was so excited to call for Mom and show her my airplane and my hand... Joanna turned 60 on the 9th and we had a yummy dinner (courtesy of Justin's superb meat smoking skills) at our place with two of her sisters and her dad, plus all of her kids and grandkids minus Jeff, who wasn't able to come out (but Leza and the kids did). Joanna wanted a picture of her and all the grandkids with the cake, Dale was trying his hardest to blow it out even from afar...  Very cute picture with all the grandkids!  We decided to show everyone how funny angry turkeys are, so Brighton went back and chased them until they got mad at him. I say mean turkeys are way more fun than nice ones...  I love how funny they look when they puff up and start strutting around to try to intimidate their opponent.  We caught all the little boys playing with trains in Brighton & Dale's room and had to catch a picture. Justin and Brighton were making "a balloon," as the kids would call it, in the family room. Daisy was crawling around trying to see what all the fuss was about. Adaira displaying the balloon...  Daisy modeling her new gold bow I bought her. She makes a great present!  Brighton is in the Chandler School District attending Ryan Elementary. I was originally going to move both he and Adaira to a nearby Charter school but Brighton tested into the gifted program for Chandler so I kept him in. The CATS (Chandler Academically Talented Students) program is more advanced than the accelerated program at the charter school, so I wanted to give it a chance. Unfortunately Adaira wasn't tested in time and when I found out Brighton was in I called and asked to have her tested but all the CATS classes were already full. Fun with Adaira... She kept telling me to smile and I'd make a silly face, and then she just wanted pictures of us making silly faces. Before I took the picture, she'd call out "Sassy face!" "Mean face!" etc. Adaira loves being in front of the camera!
