Brighton Turns 8! Brighton turned 8 on March 9th. Do I really have an 8 year old? Jeesh! His birthday was on a Friday and we had his party the next day on Saturday. He had a party at our house with five of his friends. I made his cake after seeing it on Pinterest. It was so easy to make! Unfortunately I was one Kit Kat bar short (I thought 8 bars would do the trick, but it didn't) so the Kit Kats on the sides are spaced a little more than they were supposed to be. It didn't matter though, the boys couldn't have been happier to not only get cake and ice cream on their plates, but also Kit Kats and M&Ms! We wanted to have all the boys eating outside, but the breeze kept putting out our candles. We moved inside for the song and candle blowout, then moved back outside...
