Kinder Springs

It's not surprise that I love Kinder Springs, part of that reason is for the relationships that get renewed and strengthened every year we go. Several straight days of playing with their cousins is so good for these kids. This year we brought up two of my cousins's children (Ashlyn & Aiden) who are the same age as Brighton & Adaira, and I'm planning on bringing them every year!

Love my brothers, they are good folk, and these two especially have blessed me with sister in laws who truly desire to be my friends, which has been a huge blessing in my life.

Save the Chateau Grandma!

Adaira has finally been allowed to learn to drive the quad. Scary...not legal...but something I did at her age.

I try to take pictures of my kids with my dad often. His health has taken a turn for the worse in the last 1-2 years, and every additional year is a gift.
Sweet Daisy, she's just so light, in her looks, her weight, and her step. She pitter patters around that I can't help but nickname her "Pixie" or "Twinkle Toes"

The tire swing, a daily activity

Adaira took a lot of these pictures for us with the new camera. She walks around like a cute little photographer.

Quite possibly the best picture of Dale ever. It just radiates sweetness and beauty in his amazing eyes.

I ADORE this picture of Dale with Senna. I was hoping having a dog would be more therapeutic for him, but he doesn't play with her much. I still think she is an amazing dog though.

Wonderful girls, I feel thankful all the time that they have each other.

Dale and Raquel (Don's daughter)

Awesome picture of William, Daisy, and Charlotte. Wouldn't be complete without a photobomb from Justin!

I include these as an obligatory picture of myself because they seem to be few and far between.

 Shotgun shootin'

Handsome man alert

Daisy's hair is just white white white. She is so adorable.

We got just the right amount of rain for it to be nice and cool. What's camping without rain?

These pictures are incredibly priceless. The littlest kiddos found the mud puddles and at first I was yelling at Adaira and Daisy not to splash mud everywhere above their boots, but it quickly became obvious to me that I had two choices, miss playing cards and follow Daisy around keeping her away from the puddles, or just let it go and let her do what she wanted and deal with the consquences later. I chose to play cards :)

These kids went ALL out!

Daisy is a skinny little girl and her pants became heavy when wet. She had help pulling them up a few times, but it was futile. A quick and cold rinse in the cattle trough took care of the worst of the mud (Daisy wasn't happy but she did pretty well, no crying or screaming, just gasping from the cold) and we washed the rest out in the trailer shower. Moral of the story: WORTH IT!

Angie's mother prepared a lesson for the kids on Sunday and Adaira helped out quite a bit. She really can be a leader when it comes to these things. She plans and executes FHE here at home over 50% of the time and loves doing it.

Adaira sharing a story with the group and asking questions.

This picture...lol

Grandma and Grandpa, we sure are glad for all the years of memories on these camping trips. I really believe camping is one of the best family activities you can do with your kids. Things have changed quite a bit and none of us seem to camp in tents anymore, but we still manage to get dirty and play a lot of cards.

A crazy rain storm followed us home. I hadn't seen winds like that in years, I thought the block wall at my parents house was going to fall over! Justin took the opportunity to give my Dad's truck an impromptu wash and wipe.

Until next year!
