Gilbert Temple Dedication

It was a special day today to take Brighton to the temple dedication for the Gilbert temple. Like so many things in life he wasn't too excited to get dressed and go to the church building but after the meeting was over he was glad that he had come. While sometimes reluctant, Brighton is such a sweet and intelligent boy. He has a kind heart loving spirit. I hope you felt the spirit today watching the temple dedication. I know I did especially at the end during singing of the Spirit of God. Brighton I hope you always remember this day. I hope you follow the counsel suggested that you make it a goal to get married in that temple and keep your life worthy to do so. I love you son. Love Dad

Brighton's thoughts: well anyways it was really worth getting dressed for and I really felt the Spirit. I felt it as peace and love.

Audra offered to take the older kids a few days later. Adaira obliged and got to see the temple again. Brighton will be there in two years for baptisms anyway, so I guess we don't mind that he wasn't interested in going again.
