Scout Campout, Halloween, Selfies, Stake Fair....

WHATEVER you call it, we just have to catch up!

Justin was the assistant scout leader and convinced a nervous Brighton to come along on one of their overnight campouts (I think it was an effort to relieve me at home from at least 1of our kids). Brighton was nervous about going with the older boys, but he ended up having a good time. Justin said one of the boys (the other leader's son) reached out to Brighton and was really nice to him.

I'm glad to see he got in and observed the dinner action.

I think this is a great picture of this handsome boy, GOODNESS look at that beautiful face!

 Halloween

For Halloween we have a SWAT officer, a Fireman, Egyptian princes, and a hula girl. All dressed up for a night out with our friends the Clarks.

Daisy and Chase getting a lift and eating as much candy as they can after a long night of walking

We recently found out these good friends of ours will be moving to UT this June, sad news indeed. Their kids are near perfect little matches for ours :(

I'm not sure where Dale was in this picture.
Actually I think he was in the car eating his candy.
Justin was a Police figure of some sort...

RANDOMNESS

Jeff & Leza finally live back in AZ and it's so nice seeing them more often. We introduced them to our makeshift climbing tower in the backyard.

Pretty sweet image of the clouds and moon behind Brighton here.
Jeff & Justin give it a try

ZOO with Cousins

Leza and I took the kids (and her niece) to the zoo. I haven't taken Brighton back since. I think he may have outgrown outings like this. He complained he was bored the whole time and wanted to ride in the wagon and read his Kindle.
Adaira and Addison are about 18 months apart, they enjoy playing together though!
I get random comments from strangers (at the store or school) that say "that is some white hair" or ask me if all our kids had hair like this. It's funny, Daisy does have super white hair, there's really not a hint of blonde to it yet.

Trying to get the nerve to pet some goats

Stake Fair

Our stake puts on a great fair every fall. We got there early and got the first ride on the train.

There was a nice long zip line, thankfully the kids went on that first because the line was super long the rest of the night.

Savings space for other kids by riding together

A pirate booth made people walk the plank

Another booth was for photos and the kids had so much fun trying on all the masks.
Adaira is always posing, she's such a cutie.

Our ward was in charge of the face painting station and I was signed up for a 30 minute time slot. Adaira came and sat next to me and kept begging me to let her paint people's faces. She did a pretty good job so after I while I got up and let her be the painter.
She did this flower on my cheek, hard to see in the picture though.

I did a mustache on Adaira and a lot of other kids started asking for them too (I still don't understand why 'stache's like these are so popular right now).
Yay for balloon figure!

We love the stake fair!
