Daisy turns 2!
This little girl adds so much spice and sweetness to our life!
Daisy I love watching you learn and copy your older siblings. It's so fun to see you make new expressions or use new words! You are talking so much! You still take naps like a champ and are a perfect little sleeper at night. One of the blessings of having older and younger children and seeing the love you have for your older siblings Brighton & Adaira (Dale is another story but hopefully you two are friends when you are older!). You absolutely adore Brighton and I love seeing the way he is so tender and loving toward you. Adaira loves to play with you and mother you, but you don't always want her help.
You have learned a lot of rascal behaviors from your older brother! I've been pulling you off the countertops for six months now! You can knocked over and broken our candlesticks several times (yay for super glue!) and you also push the chair to the fridge so you can get in and raid for food. What can I expect when you see how well Dale gets everything he needs when my back is turned? You managed to do this to the island after breakfast one morning when I sat down to check my email for a few minutes. You have got to be the cutest trouble maker around! You really don't care to watch TV or play games. You just love to sneak outside or stay inside and explore.
You had a great mullet going for a while but I finally had to cut it off. Don't worry, your older sister had the same thing.
You bring so much joy to our family. I always laugh and tell your daddy the funny things you do, and you have probably heard the phrase "You are so cute!!!" from my mouth over a hundred times as I interact and love on you. I am so happy I got a second girl, and I hope you and your sister are everything to each other that I desperately wish I had in a sister. A woman needs a sister to be there for her; I didn't realize this until I was grown with kids of my own. Your sister can and hopefully becomes your best and reliable friend. Friends are great, but once you are busy with your own family it is hard to stay in touch or as close, and I have found that my friends and sister in laws are always closer to their own sisters than they are to me, and I have felt so envious as I have never had that closeness and never will. Treasure and love each other!
