Adaira is a Beehive!
Adaira is finally out of primary and where her mature spirit belongs, in Young Womens! We took her to the temple to do baptisms about a week after her birthday. She had a water party after Brighton's and thoroughly enjoyed all of her friends. This girl has SO many friends. It's normal on any given weekend for more than one friend to invite her over. She is super social and has definitely passed into the realm of wanting to hang out with friends over family. It bums us out but she has great friends. Adaira loves to play volleyball and holds her own even with adults. We try to take her to play sand volleyball and to morning volleyball with me when she isn't in school. She has really come a long way and is growing taller and taller, which is to her advantage for sure. She has been working so hard at Accelerated Middle School this year. She is incredibly disciplined and responsible, to the point that I worry she sets a standard too high for herself. We are working on her to learn to laugh at herself a little more :)
Adaira you are so beautiful in so many ways. Your beauty on the outside is obvious and confirmed by anyone who sees you. The love you have for Polly (and she for you) is so heartwarming. Your sisters are going to love and count on you forever. How blessed they will be to have you as their older sister. Right now you plan on becoming a nurse when you are older. I hope to do whatever I can to help you achieve that goal. You are so dependable, and unfortunately because of that I think we count on you more than we probably should a barely 12 year old. I don't know if I would've survived having Polly without your help. You are a good friend and example to those around you. I am so grateful and proud to have you as my daughter.
Adaira's cake of choice is the Jello Poke Cake. Her best friends right now are probably her cousins, Dusti and Talyn. She never gets tired of their company. It will be fun to see them in High School together in a few years. The three of them play volleyball together and it's been neat to see them grow closer over the last 2 years.

She chose Olive Garden for her birthday dinner
