This last weekend we went to the cabin. The kids had fun, I held Dale about 99% of the time like all other days, forgot to bring his sling, so I couldn't do much, but it was a nice getaway. I misplaced the camera so I don't have any pictures, but I found it last night and thought I should get some pictures of Dale since he is growing so fast. He is 5wks old now, 12lbs, and FINALLY starting to calm down a bit. He's not fussy 90% of his waking hours anymore! He is still busy and wants to be held and entertained constantly, but just 4 days ago he wanted that and still cried all the time.



Brighton and Adaira just love Dale. Unfortunately up to this point in his life they haven't been able to interact with him much due to his constant crying, which made them nervous. Adaira had him first this morning for the pictures and when I gave him to Brighton to hold, Adaira got so upset she started crying...drama...Anyway, they love little Dale.

That one of him in Adaira's lap makes him look so big. Crazy that he has grown so much. I have to get to know him all over again. Thanks for the pictures honey ;-)

He's getting SO big! And Hooray for a happier Dale. I can't believe how different he looks from your other kids. (To me he looks different anyway) He definitly looks like he belongs to your family though. Cute kids!

Today Daisy was baptized by her big brother Brighton. My mom and Adaira got to be the witnesses, grandma Joanna gave the talk on the Holy Ghost, and Dale gave the closing prayer (after Dad has to rush during the closing song to help him put back on his tie and button up his shirt.   Memorial Day A couple months ago I told Justin that we should take our kids and both sets of grandparents to the Mesa City Cemetery and tell our kids stories about our family members buried there. I thought it would make a good Sunday or Family Home Evening activity.  I want my children to identify with their ancestors and feel like they can learn from them. I especially want them to feel like they can develop some of the same good qualities or avoid some of the poor ones. They had also never been to a cemetery so it would be a new experience for them. Justin and I never got around to organizing it until today.
