It was an odd numbered birthday for Dale this year so he didn't get a party, but he did get a pretty  tasty cake! Dale you hold such a special place in my heart. You struggle in ways that make me want to strangle you and shower you with all the love that I have at the same time. You have taught me huge lessons on both patience and love. You started Kindergarten just a little while ago are working hard to learn and make friends. You have so much energy and you are so strong! You love wrestling, jumping on the trampoline, gymnastics, big hugs, and sleep. You burn so much energy during the day that you are so ready to go to sleep at night and don't have any trouble getting there. You are actually one of our most obedient kids at night time! You ask me several times a month when I'm going to sign you up for baseball or some other sport. Wanted to throw in some pictures of Daisy with one of her favorite cousins: William. We have seen a lot of more of him since we sold our house and moved in with Grandma and Grandpa. It's been fun! These two cause SO much trouble when they are together, but they make great playmates. Grandpa has always been so good at giving attention to his youngest grandkids. I think he has a soft spot for babies and toddlers. Brighton being the fun older cousin and entertaining the little ones with rides around the yard. Surprise surprise, but Dale LOVES babies. It's so sweet to watch him show tenderness toward them. This behavior has shocked me so much because he never showed that to Daisy at all. I love seeing this sweet side of him. He is always asking to hold his baby cousins and whenever they come over he runs downstairs and brings up his favorite big toys for them to "play with."

We don't do family pictures....EVER. The idea of it is just so daunting to me. Getting outfits for everyone, a location, a photographer, the money involved, actually having children that look at the camera. Ideally I would LOVE to get professional outdoor pictures done with some great candid natural shots, but it just hasn't happened yet. I will try to at least take more now that I have a better camera. Headshots. I love these awesome kids. They all have their very own unique look. Justin wasn't taking this "session" seriously so we never did get a good clear picture with each other First Day of School Pictures! I had waited so long for this day when Dale would start school, but I also wasn't ready for it at all. I worry about him so much. He is so sweet and naive, nobody is a stranger to him and it's hard for him to recognize when he is being appropriate. He just has no filter, which is both good and bad. He lo...

 It's not surprise that I love Kinder Springs, part of that reason is for the relationships that get renewed and strengthened every year we go. Several straight days of playing with their cousins is so good for these kids. This year we brought up two of my cousins's children (Ashlyn & Aiden) who are the same age as Brighton & Adaira, and I'm planning on bringing them every year! Love my brothers, they are good folk, and these two especially have blessed me with sister in laws who truly desire to be my friends, which has been a huge blessing in my life. Save the Chateau Grandma! Adaira has finally been allowed to learn to drive the quad. Scary...not legal...but something I did at her age. I try to take pictures of my kids with my dad often.
