Box Canyon on a new riding "toy"

My parents are awesome and bought this Ranger for them (and all their kids) to use. We have all enjoyed taking our families out on rides since they picked it up. The weather was great and the river was running. I'm so glad my parents use their generosity to allow us to have fun with toys we can't afford to get on our own yet.

Just took us up a very steep hill (kids were truly scared, I was nervous myself) at the very beginning.

I was glad Daisy was safely strapped into a carseat!

Best part of the ride right here going through this canyon.

A little tired toward the end
There is a shady spot in the canyon where I like to stop and rest (some like to pee while we are here)

Tried to take a picture with Dale but he walked away from us.

Dale has yet to learn that he doesn't have to drop his pants all the way to pee. As I was taking this picture someone was holding Daisy and walked right near me and it just captured the perfect image of her finger pointing that direction (she wasn't pointing at him at all). Best picture ever!
It's easy to forget to take pictures of just me and this guy, I'm glad we get a few every now and then!
After our rest stop Justin let me drive.

It was a pretty warm January day, so we had fun soaking our feet in the COLD Gila river water after our ride. I wished we had come more prepared to play in the water (extra clothes, towels, more food). Next time!

It feels good to get out like this every once in a while. After the fact we look at the pictures and forget how much the kids were fighting and hitting each other and how much Justin and I were yelling and threatening. Looking at this post it just looks like a lovely, fun, family outing :)
